Simon Stafford - Head of Finance

Simon joined the Foundation in May 2012, having previously been Group Finance Director for Targetfollow Group Ltd.  Simon qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1996 with KPMG. After qualification he spent fourteen years working in Corporate Finance with KPMG and Baker Tilly in East Anglia, before moving to Targetfollow.

Simon is married to Sharon with one son.

Sarah Kopferschmitt - Head of Care

Sarah is a qualified nurse having trained at Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Cambridge. Following on from this she went to work in Switzerland, first at the University Hospital of Lausanne, then moved into care home management.

Sarah returned to live in Suffolk in 2002 with her French husband, their 2 sons and daughter. Sarah has continued working specifically in the field of care for older people since returning to the UK.

Rob Cawley - Principal of the Seckford Foundation Free Schools Trust

Rob joined the Foundation in 2012. Until August 2011 he was the executive head teacher of Deben and Orwell High Schools, including the Felixstowe 6th Form and has extensive experience of the maintained sector in East Anglia. In 2011/12 he completed his doctoral thesis and worked for Ofsted, the Teaching Agency and Anglia Ruskin University.
