Graham Watson – Director of The Seckford Foundation and Bursar of Woodbridge School
Graham has been administering the Seckford Foundation since 2003, which as well as the Almshouses, includes Woodbridge School, The Abbey Preparatory School, and Springboard. He’s a Trustee of the Seckford Foundation Free Schools Trust, and Chair of the Trust Leadership Group.
Before joining The Seckford Foundation, Graham was Deputy Chief Executive of NESTA, a non-departmental public body set up by the Lottery Act 1998. NESTA funds programmes for creativity, invention and innovation and fellowship and education.
Neil Tetley – Headmaster of Woodbridge School
Neil was educated at Epsom College and the Selwyn College, Cambridge where he read History. He stayed at Cambridge to do his teacher training before going to live in Japan for a year. On his return he taught as a supply teacher before landing a full time job at King’s College School, Wimbledon. During the brief gap before starting this position, Neil took the opportunity to go and live in Rome and teach English as a foreign language. He then spent ten years at King’s Wimbledon, becoming first Housemaster and then Assistant Head. These ten years were punctuated by a year at the International School of Brussels. After King’s Wimbledon, he moved to Sevenoaks in Kent to become one of the Deputy Heads.
Neil is married to Laura and they have two sons, Charles and Henry, who are both at Woodbridge School.
Sarah is a qualified nurse having trained at Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Cambridge. After working at Addenbrooke’s, Sarah went to work in Switzerland, first at the University Hospital of Lausanne, then in 1989 moved into care home management. This was the starting point for her specialising in care of older people.
Sarah returned to live in Suffolk in 2002 where she lives with her family. She joined the Seckford Foundation in June 2010.
Simon Stafford – Head of Finance
Simon leads the finance team which supports all of the Foundation’s activities. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1996 with KPMG. After qualification he spent fourteen years working in private practice with KPMG and Baker Tilly, specialising in Transaction Services and Corporate Finance. Prior to joining the Foundation in 2012, Simon was Group Finance Director of Targetfollow Group Limited, a commercial property investment and development business.
Simon is also Company Secretary and Principal Finance Officer of the Seckford Foundation Free Schools Trust.
