Stoke by Nayland
The Seckford Foundation is pleased to announce it will be attending an interview at the Department for Education on Tuesday 22 May in relation to its proposal for a free school in Stoke by Nayland. This will be the Foundation's third bid to reach this stage following on from bids submitted for Beccles and Saxmundham Free Schools, both of which are proposed to open in September 2012.
The proposed Stoke by Nayland Free School will open in September 2013 at the current Stoke by Nayland Middle School site. Initially it is proposed the School will open with Years 7, 8 & 9 rising each year until 2015 when it will feature Years 7 to 11, pupils aged 11 through to 16. When at full capacity the proposed School will have a maxmium of 108 pupils in each year group which will give a total pupil body number of 540.
