Following the retirement of a number of governors in recent months the Foundation has made some new governor appointments. They are Jill Gibbs, Bryan Laxton, Sarah Holsgrove, Dr. Geoff Holdcroft and Graham Kill.
Jill steps up from the Care Committee, where she has been a co-opted member for the past two years. She is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Housing and has more than 30 years’ experience in the social housing sector, including a period as chair of Orwell Housing.
Bryan is a chartered surveyor and served on the UK board of Cushman & Wakefield for many years, including 5 years as Chief Executive. He is now a non executive director of Notcutts, the locally based national garden centre operator.
Geoff spent many years in senior executive positions at BT’s research headquarters in Martlesham and now serves as Deputy Leader of Suffolk Council District Council and as a member of Woodbridge Town Council
Sarah is a senior associate at Birketts LLP, where she specialises in shipping law.
Graham has had a number of careers and has spent much of the last twenty years overseas. He is now the chairman of the Suffolk branch of the Institute of Directors
