We support and help young people under 25 in the local communities in which we operate through our Springboard initiative. As part of our aim of enabling young people to lead economically independent and productive lives, we have established A Foundation for Work, an apprenticeship programme which is open to disadvantaged or marginalised young people who currently are not in employment, education or training. We look to local businesses to join with us to help expand this programme so that more young people may benefit by creating productive partnerships. Our Small Grants programme allows individuals and organisations to apply for financial help to achieve an improvement in their lives and we are particularly keen to support efforts to enhance opportunities for education, training and employment. The Foundation also has its own Mentoring programme, through which we aim to develop the life skills of those young people who may be struggling to find a job or suitable training or are uncertain about their next steps. We run several sessions a year for new mentors, and if you would like to be part of this exciting initiative, please get in touch with us.
