Volunteer Committee Members

The Seckford Foundation

The Seckford Foundation is one of Suffolk’s oldest charities, endowed by Thomas Seckford in 1587, with the mission to promote the education of the young and the care of the older people in and around Woodbridge.  The Foundation owns and operates two significant and long standing institutions in the town, Seckford Care and Woodbridge School.

The Foundation has circa 330 employees, over 800 beneficiaries and an annual turnover of £13 million.

The Foundation is controlled by a Board of Trustees, who delegate responsibility for the day-to-day activities to a series of committees comprising Trustees, specialist co-opted members and executives.

We are currently looking for an individual with EYFS experience to take up a position on the Education Committee.

If you are interested in working with us as a volunteer Committee Member, please contact Verity Sharratt on 01394 615106 or
verity@seckford-foundation.org.uk

The Seckford Foundation is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and vulnerable adults and successful candidates will be subject to an enhanced check from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
