Director of The Seckford Foundation and Bursar of Woodbridge School
Graham has been leading the Seckford Foundation since 2003, which as well as the Almshouses, includes Woodbridge School and the Springboard programme. Graham also leads the Seckford Education Trust which was established by the Foundation in 2012.
Before joining the Seckford Foundation, Graham was Deputy Chief Executive of NESTA, a non-departmental public body set up by the Lottery Act 1998. NESTA funds programmes for creativity, invention and innovation and education.
Prior to working for NESTA, he was Director of Finance and Support Services for The Prince’s Trust and Royal Jubilee Trusts.
Graham is a Member of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators and has extensive knowledge of charity law, tax regulation and governance issues.
Graham is a board member of a number of other charities including Community Action Suffolk.
Head of Seckford Care
Sarah is a qualified nurse having trained at Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Cambridge. After working at Addenbrooke’s, Sarah went to work in Switzerland, first at the University Hospital of Lausanne, then in 1989 moved into care home management. This was the starting point for her specialising in care of older people.
Sarah returned to live in Suffolk in 2002 where she lives with her family. She joined the Seckford Foundation in June 2010.
Head of Finance
Simon leads the finance team which supports all of the Foundation’s activities. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1996 with KPMG. After qualification he spent fourteen years working in private practice with KPMG and Baker Tilly, specialising in Transaction Services and Corporate Finance. Prior to joining the Foundation in 2012, Simon was Group Finance Director of Targetfollow Group Limited, a commercial property investment and development business.
Simon is also Company Secretary and Principal Finance Officer of the Seckford Education Trust.
Head of Human Resources
Victoria leads the Human Resources (HR) team which supports all of the Foundation’s people related activities. She is a chartered member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Development and qualified in 2004. Victoria has worked in Human Resources Management for many years both in the private and public sectors, spending nearly eleven years working for Ipswich Borough Council. Prior to joining the Foundation in 2018, Victoria spent six months at Willis Towers Watson managing the HR Operations team followed by just over two years at Hutchinson Ports (UK) managing the Employee Relations team.
Victoria is Vice Chair of Governors for Bucklesham Primary School and more recently has been welcomed as a Trustee for Ipswich Housing Action Group (IHAG).
