Seckforde Street to Seckford Street Cycle Ride 2014

The annual bike ride from Clerkenwell to Woodbridge took place on 21 June in brilliant sunshine, with a gentle breeze, clear roads, plentiful food and hardly any punctures. 2014 marked a return to glorious weather and smiley faces – apart from the hills. A record number of Woodbridge School pupils  – 17  – took part, along with seven staff and various assorted parents, Old Woodbridgians, parents, friends and teachers from the Bridge School in Islington, the beneficiary of the funds raised by the cyclists’ efforts: 49 riders in all, supported by a team of drivers and caterers. Enormous thanks and congratulations to all who took part or supported the event, which raised in excess of £15,000 to help make a real difference to the lives of the children at the Bridge School, who are so worthy of support.
