Director of Care – Seckford Care
Salary: Circa £50k (DOE)
The Seckford Foundation is one of Suffolk’s oldest charities, established in 1587 by Thomas Seckford. Now, in the 21st century the Foundation is a registered charity. It incorporates Woodbridge School, Seckford Education Trust, and Seckford Care, which is an award winning, CQC Outstanding care home based in our beautiful grade 2* listed building at the heart of Woodbridge, very sheltered flats for those who wish to live independently, residential care in Jubilee House, and a day club for those who live in the community.
We are now looking to appoint a new Director of Care to continue, via exceptional leadership and management, the fantastic work we do every day.
This pivotal role sits on the Executive Committee, and holds overall responsibility for all aspects of management, development, administration, finances and compliance to achieve excellence in the provision of services to older people, in line with both Residential and Domiciliary Regulatory standards, and the Foundation’s ethos.
The successful applicant will be an associate professional, or hold a degree level qualification in health and social care related subjects, such as a registered nurse, social worker or, for example, hold an MA in Public Health or Institute of Healthcare Management. As an experienced leader and manger, you will have a successful track record in running a sizeable team, ideally with experience of leading through change. You will also be able to demonstrate experience of running an organisation compliant with strict regulatory standards. Above all, you will have the highest standards of honesty and integrity, to ensure the best care for our residents, and the conviction to challenge and expect this of others.
Now, more than ever, if you are passionate about making a positive difference to people’s lives, we would love to hear from you.
Closing date: 9.00am on Wednesday 29 July 2020
