Head of IT and Systems
Full time- Circa. £40k
The Seckford Foundation is one of Suffolk’s oldest charities, established in 1587, and today it governs Woodbridge School, Seckford Care and the Seckford Education Trust. We are now looking to appoint an experienced and progressive Head of IT and Systems to join our diverse organisation.
Leading the IT Team across the organisation, the role will focus largely on ensuring the effective and innovative use of IT for teaching and learning, care provision and business administration. You will be expected to further develop and implement the Foundation’s digital strategy in consultation with all major stakeholders, as well as overseeing, maintaining and developing all IT support services within the Foundation.
The successful candidate will have a strong IT background, with sound systems (SIS/MRS/CRM) experience. You must have an understanding of the implication of business processes and change at a technical level, together with knowledge and experience of data protection legislation and principles of data confidentiality and data security. Experience of running an ICT function in a large academic, or complex environment would be an advantage.
